There is no service this Sunday as our annual documentary Salt Spring Island Film Festival is taking place.

Karen Christie  “A Global Perspective: Knowledge versus Altruism.”  Karen’s will provide a global perspective through her lens of having lived and worked on six continents.  She looks at knowledge and altruism through both definition and experience, inviting you to reflect on your contributions to making the world a better place.

What better day to talk about the connection between our spiritual practices and laughing than April Fool’s Day. Come and join us for an amusing yet profound look at how laughter can be an important part of our spiritual lives.

In our family-friendly sacred song circles, Barbara Slater teaches us chants from around the world, as well as a few simple songs from the Unitarian tradition. Any fan of Barbara’s Ubuntu song circles around the island are certainly welcome. All ages and abilities welcomed. Uplifting Don’t miss it!
