What a Connection

This is a heads up notice from Peter S.
The most popular non-fiction book in North America last year was “The Purpose Driven Life.”

Its central message is: If you want to know why you were put on this earth you have to begin with God.

With 19 000 000 sales it seems to have spawned a new, not mainline, religious movement.

Does it connect with what happened in recent US elections?

Endowment Fund

The Endowment campaign
“Growing Forward” is still in its early stages
.
A pledge, payable over the next 3 to 5 years could be your way to support it.

When are the best times to plant an acorn? Answer: There are two best times, a 100 years ago...
And today.

Democracy Resolutions

Here are more details of the four resolutions as listed on page 3.

The idea of having these was agreed to in 2003 for a two year study

Each of the steps proposed are clarified with a short paragraph indicating the approach,

Such as: encouraging, Discussing, urging, organizing, foster, review etc.

A major work.
