February is a perfect time to wrestle with what it means to live a life of \u201cevolution.\u201d The birthday of Charles\u00a0Darwin sits right at the center of the month. If Unitarian were to create a list of high holy days,\u00a0this certainly would make the cut. Darwin\u2019s great gift to the world was not just in\u00a0offering us a new scientific framework, but also an entirely different way of understanding ourselves. Darwin`s work invited humans to see themselves not simply as children of God, but also as children of the universe.\u00a0We were invited to heal the divide between us and the rest of the natural world.<\/p>\n
