How clearly do you see things?\u00a0 Truth is, all of us need help with our blurry vision.\u00a0 And it\u2019s not a matter of intelligence, of seeing things with \u201ca critical eye,\u201d or through the lens of reason.\u00a0 With all due respect to our historic Unitarian emphasis on logic, reason and science, these days what we seem to need most is simply the time and space to step back–to take a deep breath and ask: Is this really the life I want to be living?\u00a0 Am I living out of my best self?\u00a0 Are my choices and commitments in alignment with my deepest loves and dreams?\u00a0 Am I seeing life\u2019s grace and loveliness, not just it\u2019s challenges and callousness?\u2028\u2028Our faith has faith in us; it trusts that deep down we already know what\u2019s right, true and good.\u00a0 But our faith also knows that it takes supportive friends and spiritual disciplines to regain our sight and to help us be intentional.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
