Our fifth principle is: “The right of conscience and the use of the democratic process within our congregations and in society at large.” We all have that divine seed within us helping us to make personal decisions. This morning we will talk about how, when we come together, our spiritual development and growth are encouraged, our spiritual lives are nourished, and we find hope and grace. The fifth in an eight homily series looking at our Unitarian Principles and Sources and our own spiritual practice. Each of these eight services will feature a spiritual practice that is reflective of our seven principles.
What do you live by: the golden rule, the truth, spiritual principles, inner wisdom, direction from the divine or something else entirely? This year join Amanda to delve deeply into Principles to live by. Eight monthly worship services (October to May) designed to challenge and inspire. Services will include practical ideas to carry the ideas into your own spiritual practice.
Everyone is welcome to come to any or all of the Discovery Circles scheduled.
Discovery services are led by Amanda Tarling of the Capital UU Congregation in Victoria BC.
