Growing up in a Unitarian family, I was influenced by values assumed to result in a better society if we lived into them adequately. I aim to live out good values such as respect for everyone’s inherent worth and dignity yet I struggle with people whose views I can’t understand or agree with. I feel they are wrong and I’m right. Did Unitarianism get me into this pickle? More importantly, can it help get me out?
