October 1st, 2017: Amanda Tarling: “Finding a Sustaining Spiritual Practice”

Continuing the theme of “Spiritual practices for these times” we will investigate the Japanese practice of “naikan.” The word naikan means “looking inside” or “seeing oneself” with the mind’s eye.” This spiritual practice is based on asking three questions;

What did I receive today?
What did I give?
What troubles did I cause?
